The John Gaspar Soccer Academy offers a variety of soccer programs to the Peoria and Pekin metro areas.
John Gaspar Soccer Academy Developmental Program
The Academy's Developmental Program is second to none, and is now offered in two different locations - The Soccer Centre Indoor Soccer Facility in Peoria Heights, Illinois, and at The Pekin Dragon's Dome Facility in Pekin, Illinois.
The Primary purpose of the Academy is to give every child an equal opportunity in their soccer careers to develop motor skills, agility, speed, coordination and the basic soccer fundamentals. We strive to provide an environment where entry-level players can enjoy their first soccer experience free from pressure. Children in the Academy will enjoy being with their friends and will be encouraged to be active with their school activities.
The Academy's Competitive Traveling Program Using the Protuguese Methodology
The Program's purpose is to work with players to improve their performance so that they may aspire to a higher level of play. The Academy's goal is to develop a complete soccer player.
The player must be committed to the process to maintain his/her soccer skills and fitness on a daily basis. They believe in team building, can handle change and have good coping skills. These players must take directions well, be adaptable to different styles of play and will not use excuses to avoid participation. The player is able to perform at any level, in any environment and still cope with everyday demands.
