The Academy's Competitive Traveling program
Using the Portuquese Methodology

Travel teams are formed to provide high-level game competition to challenge our soccer players. Player ability, initiative, team skill, soccer intelligence, and demonstrated performance are some factors considered by the Academy's coaching staff for traveling team player selection.

The player must be committed to the process to maintain his/her soccer skills and fitness on a daily basis. They believe in team building, can handle change and have good coping skills. These players must take directions well, be adaptable to different styles of play and will not use excuses to avoid participation. The player is able to perform at any level, in any environment and still cope with everday demands.

Multiple level traveling teams where a sufficient number of players exist, multiple levels of competitive teams are formed, will provide competitve team opportunities for all players against the right challenge level.

Parents primarily and player interest and commitment are also required to join and succeed on a travel team.
